Mark Taylor
Mark Taylor is an optimist. He believes in the power of human potential to build a bright future. Mark has been the CEO of Reading Plus since moving the company from New York to his home state of Vermont in 2009. Originally an architect, Mark believes a healthy degree of creative tension is essential to uncover meaningful connections, produce great work, and experience personal fulfillment. Driven by a strong sense of purpose, Mark has helped shape a culture at Reading Plus that is rooted in service to a collective good. He has expanded the company’s focus to include a ‘whole student’ mindset – one that integrates the cognitive, physical, and emotional dimensions of a student’s experience. Mark enjoys helping his children become musicians, athletes, and critical thinkers who lead from their hearts. He and his family live on Lake Champlain just south of Burlington, Vermont.
